Our story

I was handing my car key to my dad when I realised that it looked like it could belong to anyone. It was just a plain, boring, black car key.

A few days later, in the midst of making friendship bracelets because I had been incredibly inspired by the iconic creations that fans made during Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, I thought I’d try making a keychain for my car key, too. About eight keychains later, I realised I’d found a new hobby, and it’s safe to say the car key situation had definitely been sorted.

Over the following months, I learnt new techniques, tried new tools and played around with many different designs. I made more keychains than I could ever count (or reasonably carry!) and so I decided to open an Etsy shop.

That was the beginning of Charmed by Sunny, and now I’m lucky enough that I get to create the kind of pieces that I was searching for back then: playful, personal and polished enough to go on any accessory. Here’s to keys you’d recognise anywhere and bags that look a little more like you.
